I help Shopify stores that sell personalized products with live previews, cart upsells and fast mobile pages.

Your customers see their name or photo on the product before they pay, the design arrives with the order, and the page shows up fast on a phone. Below are four pieces I built for Inkly, a demo store with fictional products.

The demo store is password protected; ask for a 2-day preview link. The videos below show every piece working.

Work

Four pieces from one demo store

The store I work on every day can't be shown, so I built Inkly, a gift shop on Shopify, to show the same kind of work. The products are fictional and no orders are shipped. Everything else works, and each piece has a short video with no sound.

01 · Product page

Customers see their gift before they pay

The problem

Personalized gifts sell on trust. The customer wants to see their name or photo on the mug before paying, and the shop needs to know exactly what to print.

What I built

On the product page the customer types a line of text, picks the font, the color and where it goes, or uploads a photo. The mug, tee or tote bag changes as they type, in 2D or in a 3D view they can turn. A photo that would print blurry gets a warning before checkout.

What it means for your store

The customer buys what they saw. The order arrives with the text, the font, the photo and a preview image, so you print the right thing. The 3D view only loads once the customer starts to interact, so the page stays fast.

02 · Cart

A cart that sells a little more

The problem

A cart that reloads the page breaks the shopping flow, and the upsell and free-shipping bars most stores use come from paid apps.

What I built

A cart that slides in without leaving the page. A ribbon shows how far the order is from free shipping and ties a bow when it passes $50. Suggested add-ons go in with one click, and quantity and removal update right there.

What it means for your store

Shoppers see what's missing for free shipping and can add one more item without leaving the cart. You pick the add-ons and the free-shipping goal in the theme editor, with no extra app to pay for.

Demo store · fictional products The slow version and the final store loading side by side on the same phone Watch · 0:57

03 · Speed

From 11.9 s to 3.5 s on a phone

The problem

Many stores come to a developer already slow: heavy fonts, slider plugins and a banner image almost 4,000 pixels wide on every screen. On a phone, shoppers wait and stare at a blank page.

What I built

I built Inkly's home page the way those stores look, measured it, then fixed it: lighter fonts, no slider plugins, images sized for each screen, and the cart's code loaded only when it's needed.

The result

11.9 s3.5 s
until the main content shows on a phone
4774
Google's mobile speed score (Lighthouse)
91100
accessibility score

Same store, same settings, five runs each. On your store I measure the same way before and after, and I show you how much of the weight comes from Shopify's own scripts and from your apps.

Demo store · simulated ERP Diagram: an order leaves Shopify, goes through the app to the ERP, and the tracking number comes back Watch · 0:47

04 · App

Orders reach the ERP, tracking numbers come back

The problem

Someone copies each new order into the ERP and, once it ships, pastes the tracking number back into Shopify. It eats time every day, and mistakes slip in.

What I built

Inkly ERP Sync, a private app inside the Shopify admin. Every new order reaches the ERP in under half a second. When the ERP ships it, the tracking number comes back and the order is marked as fulfilled in Shopify.

What it means for your store

Nobody types orders by hand. If the ERP is down, the order waits and is sent again with one click; a repeated notice never creates a second order; and no customer name, email or address leaves Shopify. Here the ERP is simulated inside the app; a real one replaces a single part.

How I work

No surprises on your live store

  1. We agree on the scope and the price in writing before I start.
  2. I work on a copy of your theme. Nothing goes live until you approve it.
  3. I test every change on a phone and on a computer before I deliver.
  4. I'm in Brazil (UTC-3, one or two hours ahead of New York) and I work in writing, with an update every two days.

About

Hi, I'm Gabriel

I'm a Shopify developer in Brazil. Since March 2026 I've been the main contributor to the Shopify Plus theme of a live store that sells personalized photo albums: product pages with a live preview, the cart drawer, landing pages and page speed.

I can't show that store, so I built Inkly to show the same kind of work in public, from the product page to an app inside the Shopify admin.

Want this on your store?

Send me your store's address and what you need. I'll answer with the scope and a fixed price.
